UST’s geographical coverage has extended from urban slums to river chars, coastal villages and climate vulnerable areas to implement projects in these geographic locations in supports of foreign donors and the government organizations. UST has worked in 406 Unions of 81 Upazillas under 31 districts of the country. More than 70 projects have been implemented in those areas.
Covered Target Groups
UST’s work reached the disadvantaged people. Its target groups include the women, children and the men including disabled people in the rural communities who are still living in poverty and deprived of very basic needs of life.
About 12,180,000 people have been benefited directly by UST’s projects. Among them 6150900 are male and 6029100 are female. About 1320303 are adolescent boys, 1259421 are adolescent girls and about 3258150 beneficiaries are children.
