Who We Are
Unnayan Shahojogy Team (UST) is an independent, non-profit, multidisciplinary non-governmental organization (NGO) established in 1986.
UST works across Bangladesh to empower marginalized populations—especially women, children, youth, and people with disabilities—by addressing root causes of poverty and inequality.
We believe sustainable development must be led by the people themselves, supported by community-driven initiatives and inclusive participation.
Our Approach
UST to the point
UST gives priority to the development of people’s capacity as it believes that the people are the real architect of their own development.
Their development depends on their hand.UST,considering it with importance, has retained its initiative tostrengthencapacity of rural poor and the poorest, especially the women, through training and upheld their development by mobilization of local resources.
UST is guided by some principles which are embedded with its ethics.
